Rate: £16 - £20/ hour (Dependant on experience)
Job Overview
As a Band 5 Clinical Pharmacy Technician you will work within the Pharmacy Department at this busy NHS Trust, supporting delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred medicines optimisation services. You will work closely with pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality clinical pharmacy support across inpatient areas, contributing to improved patient outcomes and the efficient use of medicines.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake medicines reconciliation for patients on admission, transfer and discharge
* Support Ward-Based clinical pharmacy services alongside pharmacists
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise medicines use
* Provide accurate medicines-related information to patients and healthcare professionals
* Ensure compliance with local policies, national guidance, and NHS Standards
* Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate clinical and pharmacy documentation

* CPT Qualification
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
