MIG Welder / Fabricator – Ripley, Derbyshire
An established manufacturing business based in Ripley is looking to recruit a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team. This is a long-term opportunity producing high-quality fabricated and welded components for specialist equipment used across a range of industries.
This is a hands-on, shop-floor role, ideal for a MIG Welder / Fabricator who enjoys working from engineering drawings and being part of a close-knit production team.

Weekend overtime available (Saturday & Sunday) The Role – MIG Welder / Fabricator
As a MIG Welder / Fabricator, your responsibilities will include:
MIG welding and fabricating metal components from engineering drawings
Producing fabricated parts and assemblies for bespoke equipment
Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and specification requirements
Using workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
Working closely with other welders and fabricators to meet production targets
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment What We’re Looking For – MIG Welder / Fabricator
Previous experience working as a MIG Welder / Fabricator
Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
Experience working with a range of metals and fabrication techniques
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Willingness to work overtime when required Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience fabricating components for industrial or specialist equipment
Background in a manufacturing or production environment Pay & Package
From £13.50 per hour
Weekend overtime available
