Job Title:Care & Support Worker Days - James HillSummary:Deliver person-centred care and support for residents at James Hill House, fostering independence and well-being in a welcoming London environment.Key Responsibilities:- Provide compassionate care and daily support to residents, respecting individual needs and preferences- Assist with personal care, mobility, and medication administration according to care plans- Promote residents' dignity, independence, and participation in daily activities- Record and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional health- Maintain a safe, hygienic environment and follow health and safety guidance- Support residents with appointments, social events, and community activities- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams- Uphold safeguarding and confidentiality policies at all timesRequired Qualifications:- Relevant care and support experience in a residential or community setting- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards), or equivalent- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication- Flexibility to work day shifts, including weekends or bank holidays- Commitment to maintaining privacy, dignity, and respectNice-to-have:- Experience with dementia care or mental health supportBenefits:- Comprehensive training and development opportunities- Supportive team environment- Uniform providedSalary:£26,353.78 per annumLocation:James Hill House, LondonHow to Apply:Apply with your cv.Equal opportunity statement:We are an equal opportunity employer.
