Social Network Login/Join:
To lead prevention and intervention efforts to help our residents sustain their tenancies. Our team operates within the Housing Tenancy Management Team and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the Council's vision of safe communities.
You will focus on intervening and resolving reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse. Referrals and signposting will be made promptly and accurately to support residents, especially vulnerable ones, ensuring they feel safe at home. Developing strong partnerships with agencies to assess and manage risks, employing intervention and support measures to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
1. Address reports of ASB and Domestic Abuse.
2. Support victims of Domestic Abuse within HRA and General needs stock, conducting risk assessments, making referrals, and implementing safety plans.
3. Attend meetings with stakeholders to identify solutions for ASB cases.
4. Deliver a resident-focused response to ASB complaints and tenancy breaches.
5. Create and manage action plans for case resolution.
6. Utilize legislation and best practices to take preventative and legal actions, including mediation.
7. Conduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and alleged perpetrators.
8. Prepare and serve legal notices, and represent the organization in court as needed.
9. Handle service queries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
10. Communicate effectively with victims, families, and perpetrators, ensuring their views are heard and recorded.
11. Build respectful relationships with victims, families, and perpetrators.
12. Provide clear written and verbal reports based on evidence and needs assessment.
13. Ensure child and adult safeguarding matters are addressed promptly and effectively.
14. Manage complex, high-risk cases involving vulnerable perpetrators of ASB and abuse.
Skills and Requirements
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Experience managing tenancy-related breaches in the public sector.
