* Lead and oversee Saturday deep cleaning and ongoing maintenance of the stockroom.
* Inventory Management.
* Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, addressing discrepancies promptly.
* Conduct weekly rough stock counts, verifying accuracy by checking a random unit.
* Organise and execute full stock counts twice annually (January and September).
* Identify, label, and organise faulty stock for further action and product performance monitoring.
* Track and report slow-selling items, liaising with management and head office.
* Prepare and document returns for head office using Excel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company protocols.
* Actively contribute to our company's commitment to environmental and social responsibility by integrating sustainable practices into everyday work. This includes minimising waste, promoting responsible sourcing, supporting our circular economy initiatives, and encouraging customers and colleagues to make choices that align with our sustainability values. Every team member at NC plays a role in helping us reduce our environmental impact and create a positive legacy for our communities and the planet.

Ideally, you'll have:

* Proven experience in stock management or a similar role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., Square) and Microsoft Excel.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers, management, and other departments.
* Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Availability:

* Must be available to oversee deliveries every Wednesday and Saturday. Working pattern is 6 hours per day on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
* Participate in stock counts and deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
