Overview
Location: Stonehaven, Scotland, United Kingdom. Join CrossReach as a Relief Night Care Worker to provide overnight care that helps people feel safe, respected and cared for during the night.
Responsibilities
* Supporting people with bedtime routines, overnight care and early morning assistance
* Offering comfort, calm and reassurance during the quiet hours
* Responding sensitively to individual needs through the night
* Working closely with your team to keep the environment safe, homely and supportive
Qualifications
* No previous care experience? That’s completely fine—full training and ongoing support will be provided
* We’ll help you work towards SVQ Level 2 in Social Services and Healthcare if you don’t already have it
* Attitude matters: stay calm and kind under pressure; respect everyone’s dignity and independence
* We’re looking for reliable, observant team players who notice when someone needs support and enjoy working as part of an overnight team
* Shifts: night shifts available; you can pick up shifts that suit your schedule, including occasional cover or regular availability
* Checks: you’ll need to join the PVG scheme and register with the SSSC
* Right to work in the UK in line with UK Visas and Immigration requirements
