Responsible for creating and reviewing technical content for our products and services. This position requires excellent written communication, interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the company, an understanding of our technology stack, and a dedication to producing high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Create and review technical content for our products and services, including user manuals, online help, release notes, API documentation, and technical guides.
2. Help the team deliver tasks by completing own work and assisting others, working with VP and senior staff, and working on the design and development of our platform's documentation.
3. Be an advocate for good documentation and its impact on our users.
Relevant experience and qualifications:
* 3-5 years experience in an equivalent commercially-facing role, with a proven track record of successful user-facing documentation and other technical writing output.


What are we looking for?

Skills:

* Familiar with common markup formats, such as Markdown, XML, JSON, and HTML/CSS.
* Broad knowledge of the features of AutoRek.
* Experience with CI/CD tools, GitHub, SDLC, and Scaled Agile.
* Ability to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, easy to understand, and well-tailored to the audience.
* Ability to articulate technical matters to non-technical stakeholders and customers if needed.
Expertise with relevant tools:
* Core tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Studio/VS Code, PanDocs, MkDocs.
Planning and time management:
* Collaborate with key stakeholders.
* Manage multiple complex and potentially competing tasks and priorities.
* Be alert to potential risks.
Teamwork:
* Work effectively to achieve team goals, consulting regularly with managers.
* Keep leads & team updated through daily stand-ups and task tracking.
* Contribute to the team by delivering high-complexity documentation of business impact.
* Foster effective collaboration across different teams.
Passion for learning:
* Stay proactive about technology and emerging trends.
* Review PDPs regularly to assess progress and relevance.
Helping the team grow:
* Coach and mentor junior team members.
* Contribute to developing team skills and standards.
