About The Role
With us, in addition to delivering air quality assessments for UK planning and permit applications and EIAs, you will undertake large‑scale air quality projects on behalf of governments, international financial institutions, and private banks. You’ll be responsible for providing policy advice, monitoring and modelling, leading air quality assessments, undertaking project technical reviews, project management, and helping to train and supervise junior team members. Winning work is an essential part of our business, and you will also have the opportunity to get involved in business development and proposal production.
About You
We are looking for someone with significant experience as an air quality consultant who is able to lead air quality assessments and coach junior members of the team. Having experience of leading bids and project management would also be advantageous. The ideal candidate will hold a suitable academic qualification such as a Degree or Masters in a relevant subject.
While we work in energy and international projects, you must have experience on UK transport‑related applications, be familiar with UK assessment approaches and tools (including ADMS‑Roads, ADMS, AERMOD, and GIS platforms). Experience modelling transport and industrial emissions for planning and permit applications and producing comprehensive high‑quality reports is essential.

Essential
* Suitable academic qualifications such as a Degree or Masters in a relevant air quality subject
* Ability to lead a range of air quality assessments for large infrastructure projects as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team following best practice guidance
* Experience delivering air quality assessments for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects in the UK
* High proficiency in internationally recognised dispersion models including AERMOD or ADMS, and ADMS‑Roads
* Experience delivering energy generation projects either in the UK or internationally
* Ability to produce air quality‑focused proposals
* Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent written communication skills
Desirable
* Good knowledge of monitoring approaches for a range of pollutants
* Experience developing emissions inventories for regional projects
* Knowledge of operational monitoring reporting for international energy projects and analysis of CEMS data
* Experience training junior team members
* Experience using GIS systems
* Experience using OpenAir and Python
* Membership of professional body such as IAQM or IEMA
