About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated qualified teacher of Maths to join our team as a 0.4 FTE Maths Tutor on a one-year fixed-term contract, working intensively with Year 11 students to help them secure strong outcomes in GCSE Maths.
This role is central to our intervention strategy, with a focus on supporting students at risk of not achieving a grade 5 or above. The successful candidate will deliver targeted small group and 1:1 intervention sessions, monitor and track progress, and work closely with the Head of Maths, classroom teachers, and senior leaders to ensure students make accelerated progress.
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Has strong subject knowledge and a track record of raising attainment in Maths.
* Can build positive relationships with students, motivating them to succeed.
* Can use assessment and feedback to close gaps in knowledge and build exam confidence.
* Is committed to celebrating student success, including through praise and positive communication with parents.
* This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to make a significant impact on student outcomes in the run-up to exams.
