Are you an Advanced Practitioner with a Level 7 qualification in Minor Illness and Injuries looking for a rewarding role? Main duties of the job
As a senior member of the team, you will autonomously demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and deliver expert urgent care, including assessment and diagnostic skills. You will assess and diagnose patients presenting with a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses, plan their care, prescribe treatment, and discharge or refer to other healthcare professionals as appropriate. You will work effectively under pressure as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are committed to your development towards advanced practice through a robust competency framework and ongoing training at Degree and Masters levels.
About us
Do you have/are you;
* Registered nurse or paramedic with current registration (NMC/HCPC)
* Level 7 minor illness and minor injury advanced practice qualification or equivalent
* Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
* Experience of teaching, assessing and clinical supervision in Practice
* Independent non-medical prescriber (or willingness to undertake course)

Patients presenting to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners/Clinicians with an undifferentiated diagnosis through assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan and subsequently discharge or transfer for definitive care. We are a 7-day service seeking Nurse or Paramedic Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends; shifts range from 7.5 to 12.5 hours with flexible hours available.
