About the role As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour, support students with their work, and ensure a positive learning environment. No prior teaching qualification is required, as full training and ongoing support are provided by ABC Teachers. Key Responsibilities: Supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Delivering pre-planned lessons set by teaching staff Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining school policies Supporting students to stay on task and engaged Gaining valuable hands-on experience in secondary schools About the school You will be working in a range of secondary schools across ~Atherstone, Nuneaton and Tamworth, including mainstream academies and local authority schools. Requirements To be considered for the role of Trainee Cover Supervisor you will: Are a graduate or have experience working with young people Are considering a career in teaching or education Have strong communication and classroom management skills Have experience in coaching, tutoring, youth work, or education (desirable, not essential) Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check, uploaded to the update service. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
