A well-established engineering business is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager with strong knowledge of air systems / air handling to take ownership of a high-value sales portfolio.
This is a senior, technically credible role with a mix of UK site visits and regular international travel, managing the full sales lifecycle from technical discussions and solution design through to quotation, negotiation and closing.
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end technical sales process with UK and global customers
Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
Take ownership of pricing, quotations and commercial negotiations
Work closely with internal engineering and project teams
Deliver personal sales revenues in excess of £1.5m per annum
Ideal background:
HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Strong experience within air systems, air handling or similar engineered solutions
Technically credible and consultative sales approach
Comfortable with high-value, project-led sales
Ability to interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD / 3D advantageous)
Package:
£50,000£70,000 base salary
Up to 25% company bonus
Company car or allowance (premium options available)
Pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Early finish on Fridays
