SENIOR PACKAGING GRAPHIC DESIGNER / ART WORKER
LIVERPOOL - HEAD OFFICE BASED

Our client is a highly successful global importer and distributor of homeware products to high street retailers across the UK and Europe, as well as online. They offer a diverse range of high-quality, great-value products to an international market. As they expand rapidly, they are seeking a SENIOR PACKAGING GRAPHIC DESIGNER & ART WORKER to join their team at their Liverpool head office. The role involves supporting the Buying team and other departments with daily artwork production and managing project workloads.
Key responsibilities include:
* Create original and appealing artworks aligned with brand identities.
* Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and set realistic timelines.
* Develop briefs, visual strategies, art direction, mood boards, and proposals for new projects.
* Update and amend existing artwork, ensuring correct pack copy is applied.
* Generate print-ready instruction manuals, rating plate labels, traceability labels, and swing tags.
* Prepare artwork for release to suppliers and support team needs.
* Ensure files are well-organized and accessible.
* Assist in creating cutter guides and mock-ups, manipulate images as needed.
* Manage time effectively and maintain high attention to detail.
* Lead and oversee design projects from concept to production, ensuring brand guideline adherence.
* Develop creative concepts for marketing, branding, packaging, and promotional materials.
* Lead the graphic design team, fostering productivity and growth.
* Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams.
* Maintain organized workflows, manage resources, and support brand consistency.
* Coordinate with external partners and freelancers for project execution.
* Oversee photography studio workflows and project timelines.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
* At least 6 years of experience in graphic and packaging design within the FMCG sector.
* Experience working with various barcode types.
* Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (required).
* Excellent English language skills.
* Some experience in project management.
