About us:
The Chelmsford Chiropractic Clinic is an award-winning private healthcare practice which helps thousands of patients each year through their injuries and to maintain good ongoing health for years to come. We are a large family-based clinic with multiple practitioners and a team of 6 reception staff. The clinic has been established for over 50 years and has an excellent reputation in the local community.
We are looking for an flexible, enthusiastic, professional receptionist with excellent communication and organization skills who thrives in a public-facing role to help run a busy reception and be part of our healing team.
The position offers 12 set hours which will include evening and Saturday morning shifts. Additional hours for holiday and sickness cover are also required. Thorough training will be provided by our experienced team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Greeting all patients entering the clinic and being the first point of contact.
* Collecting patient fees and crediting them to the correct practitioner.
* Daily liaison with patients including scheduling appointments using our practice software and answering the telephone and email in a professional and courteous manner.
* Balancing takings at the end of the shift.
* General clinic typing and generating computer statements and receipts for patients.
* Directing patients to waiting areas, changing rooms or x-ray area.
* Managing patient records and organising files.
* Checking to ensure patient waiting areas, treatment rooms, changing rooms and toilets are clean and ready to use.
* Undertaking morning and evening procedures.
