This is a full-time hybrid role based in Thame, with the flexibility to work remotely on certain occasions. As an Assistant Landscape Designer, you will be supporting senior team members designing creative and functional outdoor spaces that align with client preferences and project requirements. Your day-to-day tasks will involve creating detailed landscape design plans, including hardscape layouts and planting schemes. You will collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure a cohesive approach to project delivery, and you will be involved in the end-to-end design and implementation process.
Role Description
Responsibilities include supporting senior landscape designers, developing detailed planting plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary team members, and contributing to project delivery across the design and implementation phases.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Landscape Design and Landscape Architecture
* Knowledge of hard and soft landscaping techniques
* Proficiency in developing detailed planting plans
* Excellent project management and communication skills
* Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Vectorworks, Adobe Suite, Microsoft or similar programs)
* Strong attention to detail and creativity in designing bespoke outdoor spaces
* Relevant qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Garden Design, or a related field
* Experience in delivering high-end private residential projects is a plus
