Randstad seeks a highly qualified Specialist Mentor for Mental Health at a prestigious university setting in Farnham. * Salary: GBP28 per hour + GBP3.38 accrued holiday pay

As part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.
If you have not yet completed these modules, dont worry : we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately GBP180 (One time Payment), and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.

Responsibilities
Provide individualized support to university students facing mental health challenges, utilising online platforms and in:person interactions. Expertise in supporting neurodiverse learners is essential. Develop and implement individualized support plans. Maintain professional communication with students and colleagues.
Qualifications
Completion of 6 National Autistic Society Modules and NAS Certification (or willingness to obtain) is required. Membership of a relevant professional body (BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA) is essential. A postgraduate qualification in mental health, counselling, or a related field is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience supporting students with mental health needs is essential. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
