The Customer Experience & Marketing team has an exciting opportunity for two Customer Experience Learning Specialists to join the team. These roles are remote, with frequent visits to London and national travel to deliver face-to-face training. We seek candidates who excel at building strong, consultative relationships and rapport. As a Customer Experience Learning Specialist, your role involves delivering effective learning solutions across Barchester Healthcare. Your goal is to drive high occupancy levels by converting prospects seeking care homes and short-stay residents into permanent residents. Required skills and experience: Experience as a Learning and Development specialist, with a focus on sales and conversion Proven growth in commercial success through learning interventions Understanding of best-in-class sales and customer experience practices in fast-paced, multi-channel environments Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays Knowledge of customer experience design and change management Role and responsibilities: Analyze current enquiry and sales practices, immersing yourself in the enquiry-to-admission process Become familiar with Customer & Resident Experience elements, including Life Enrichment and the Customer Journey, identifying areas for improvement Identify key conversion points and develop training to maximize conversion rates, using customer insights to inform actions Support the design of structured learning initiatives aimed at occupancy and customer experience improvements, both technical and skills-based Support a digital-first approach, offering blended training delivery methods tailored to operational needs Travel nationally as required to deliver face-to-face training where it is most effective Create effective learning environments with appropriate tools and systems Ensure high-quality training preparation and delivery Implement training modules into Barchester's Learning and Development platform and HRIS, including testing and pilots Maintain resources supporting sales and occupancy success for current and future leaders Provide ongoing coaching to leaders on a one-to-one basis as needed Rewards package: £40,000 per annum Generous car allowance of £6,500 Annual bonus 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Life cover Access to retail and leisure discounts at major brands and supermarkets Free access to medical specialists for second opinions Confidential and free counselling and legal services
