Summary
Support Sofina UK’s Seafood Procurement Team in managing incoming seafood raw materials, ensuring UK import compliance, maintaining stock levels, and securing continuous supply to our factories.
The Role
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field, who brings strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills for effective reporting and presentations. You should have excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate can prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, has an analytical mindset to tackle supply-related challenges, and is familiar with customs clearance and regulatory compliance (preferred). A self-motivated, proactive approach and the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs are essential.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Procurement team to manage incoming seafood raw materials for Sofina UK
* Ensure compliance with UK import regulations and support customs clearance processes
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain supply in line with factory requirements
* Generate and maintain reports, presentations, and documentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow
* Identify supply-related issues and collaborate on solutions to minimise disruption
* Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field.
* Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to generate reports and presentations.
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Analytical mindset with the capability to identify and address supply-related issues.
* Familiarity with customs clearance processes and regulatory compliance is advantageous.
* Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.
