Offer description

We are seeking an account manager to join our fast growing team here at Sherbet Donkey. You will be responsible for building long-lasting relationships with the clients.

You will be working closely with the other departments, such as the copywriters, SEO department, designers and developers to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that we are able to hit deadlines for the clients.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and keen to build client relationships. They will enjoy working at a fast agency pace and be hungry to contribute to our client results


Responsibilities

* Serve as the lead point of contact for all accounts managed.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders.
* Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
* Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
* Monitoring the budget of the client, explaining costs or expenditures and discussing new terms if necessary.
* Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
* Prepare reports on account status.
* Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
* Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
* Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the company’s management and clients.
* Following up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s products or services


Requirements and Skills

* Previous account manager experience is essential
* Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level.
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
* Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Can demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively
* Drivers license required in order to visit clients when necessary
