Overview
We are supporting a well-established legal services organisation in the search for a Reception & Office Assistant to join on a 6-month temporary basis, with a mid-May start required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, people-facing role, combining front-of-house responsibilities with general office support in a busy, professional environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Acting as the first point of contact, providing a warm, professional welcome to all visitors
* Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with confidence and efficiency
* Coordinating meeting rooms, diaries, and hospitality requirements
* Preparing and serving refreshments for meetings and events
* Keeping reception and meeting spaces organised and presentable
* Supporting the wider office with:
* Post, couriers, and deliveries
* Stationery and office supplies
* Archiving and file management
* General admin tasks such as photocopying and document preparation
What We’re Looking For
* A confident, friendly, and professional individual who enjoys working with people
* Comfortable and confident on the phone, with a clear and personable communication style
* Previous experience in a reception/ office support or similar role (professional services or legal experience is a bonus)
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure
Salary: £13.48 per hour
Location: Sheffield city centre (S1)
Start date: 11th or 18th May
Duration: 6 months
