Soho House Greek Street…
Set within a Grade II-listed townhouse, the original Soho House at 40 Greek Street is where our story began in 1995. Almost three decades on, the club remains a round-the-clock member destination in the heart of Soho. 40 Greek Street retains many of its original features and includes outdoor spaces on the first and third floors, as well as a rooftop terrace. There are three dining spaces serving an all-day club menu from the house kitchen.


The Role

At Soho House, the Reception Manager is responsible for welcoming, directing, and signing in all members and guests to the property. You will oversee the club reception and related departments such as hosts, member relations, and the cloakroom, while supporting the management team as needed.


Main Duties

1. Ensure every member is welcomed by name (if local) and guests are greeted hospitably.
2. Answer high-volume phone lines for reservations, inquiries, and messages.
3. Be knowledgeable about menus, hours, and amenities.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary reception area.
5. Perform Guest List duties on the floor, club, and rooftop (if applicable).
6. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively.
7. Assist guests with coats and personal items.
8. Build relationships with members and guests, communicating feedback to management.
9. Promote a positive and approachable atmosphere.
10. Support new hires with training on Soho standards and service steps.
11. Perform other duties as required to support the house operations.


Qualifications

* Up to 3-5 years' experience managing a busy reception or similar environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Fluent in English.
* Organized and reliable.
* Ability to work within a diverse team.
* Computer literacy with Opera, Micros, and Adaco advantageous.
