Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client which operates refrigerated vehicles, delivering and collecting from RDCs across the UK.
Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for a well-established client based in Sittingbourne.
Consolidated pay rates £16.51 - £30.00 per hour.
This role offers ad-hoc work with various start times available.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver your duties include:
- Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers
- Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have a valid Digi card & DCPC. A maximum of 6 points on the licence (no DR, DD, IN, or TT offences).
Experience in a similar role is required.
