Job Overview
This is a permanent post. The shift pattern is day work with on‑call duties.
The successful applicant will join an established team of consultants providing comprehensive obstetrics & gynaecology service to the population of Clyde.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide acute obstetric and emergency gynaecology care.
* Deliver elective Caesarean section lists.
* Contribute to general and specialist outpatient gynaecology clinics.
* Perform day‑case gynaecology operations and ultrasound.
* Support recovery of the gynaecology backlog and develop new initiatives.
* Maintain on‑call rota for obstetrics and gynaecology; initial PA commitment may be reduced.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full GMC registration and licence to practise.
* UK‑trained doctors should hold higher specialist training leading to CCT within 6 months of interview date.
* Non‑UK applicants must have completed the CESAR process.
* Gynaecology ultrasound skills are essential.
