About the Role The successful candidate will join the firm's expanding audit and accounts department in their Exeter office. This varied role offers exposure to a broad range of accountancy services, providing excellent opportunities to develop comprehensive expertise across multiple disciplines. Audit and Accounts Senior Responsibilities: Prepare and compile financial statements for limited companies with varying complexities Process and finalise tax returns for both corporate entities and individual clients Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and reviewing their work Participate in both internal and external audit engagements Develop strong working relationships with clients across diverse sectors Contribute to the firm's continued growth and development Work closely with partners and managers on client assignments Demonstrate technical accuracy and attention to detail across all work Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and compliance requirements Help shape the evolution of the role as the practice expands Audit and Accounts Senior Requirements: AAT qualification or currently studying towards ACA/ACCA professional qualifications 2-4 years' experience working within an accountancy practice environment Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail Effective communication abilities with both colleagues and clients Well-organised approach with capability to manage multiple priorities Experience supervising junior team members (advantageous) Previous audit experience (preferable but not essential) Proactive attitude with a desire to contribute to firm growth Commitment to continuing professional development Benefits: Salary up to £35k based on experience and qualifications Healthcare benefits Professional development within a supportive team environment Clear pathway for career progression Plus much more!
