Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Chichester, West Sussex

We are working on behalf of a fantastic, growing independent veterinary hospital in Chichester who are expanding and now require an additional Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join both their clinical practice team and hospital team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days with weekends on a rota. There will be time off in lieu for any weekends worked. There will be some on-call on a rota but no OOH work.
The practice are looking for an ambitious and forward driven Vet to work alongside their highly experienced team. In particular they are looking for someone who has good all round GP skills, who is confident in routine surgeries and consultations and happy with some sole charge. The role will be based within the hospital.

The role would involve working in the main hospital in Chichester They have two main hospitals and 4 branches all which offer a wide range of modern veterinary services. Over the years the practice branch has continued to grow and develop and provides a family style close-knit working environment and they enjoy boding with their clients and providing a high level of care.
The OOH service is provided by their sister service which offers emergency and hospital care to not only the practice but other practices within the surrounding area.

Who are they looking for:
They practice are looking for an ambitious and driven Vet and someone who has solid all round GP skills. The Vet will be confident in routine surgeries and consultations and be happy working some sole charge.
They will be passionate about providing a high level of clinical care for patients and also for clients. For an experienced Vet they must be surgically competent with excellent communication skills. They will have a personable and empathetic attitude and build client relationships easily and offer case continuity for clients.
Package:
12. Salary: £45, to £65, per annum, subject to experience and Certificate/Advanced Practitioner Status
