What you’ll be doing
As one of our Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistants you’ll be responsible for keeping our visitor spaces clean, tidy, and ready for guests. This includes:
4. Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
5. Preparing rooms for guests, including making beds, providing towels, and restocking tea/coffee facilities
6. Ensuring public areas such as corridors and classrooms are neat, tidy, and well-presented
7. Setting up the dining room for meals
8. Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and service
9. Keeping the dining, kitchen, and tea/coffee areas clean and stocked
Our centre is always busy, so we value team members who are happy to help wherever they’re needed.
Where you’ll be working
Nestled in 20 hectares of south Cumbria countryside between Morecambe Bay and the Lake District, Castle Head is the perfect place to enjoy a breath of fresh air on your breaks. Surrounded by woodland, grassland, and riverside habitats, the centre accommodates up to 162 visitors and features lounges, a games room, campfire areas, classrooms, and a science lab—making it an inspiring place to work where nature and adventure are part of every day.
