The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious Investment Analyst to join our growing team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across the entire deal lifecycle: researching investment opportunities, origination, assisting with deal execution, and monitoring portfolio companies. With a strong emphasis on due diligence, financial modelling and ability to speak to potential investee companies, this position offers hands-on experience and the potential to develop a long-term career within our fund.
Key Responsibilities
* Investment Analysis:
Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential investments and produce detailed investment reports.
* Presentation:
Collaborate with the Investment Manager and other Investment Analysts to present findings to the Investment Committee.
* Outreach
: speaking to potential investee companies to find exciting assets across the globe.
* Financial Modelling:
Develop and maintain Excel models to evaluate investee companies.
* Company Engagement:
Liaise with investee company management teams to ensure the accuracy of due diligence.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with the investment team to generate accurate reports and participate in meetings with company management, industry experts, and other key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
* Academic Background:
a degree in a finance related field with an outstanding academic record.
* Experience:
2 years.
* Passion for Investing:
Demonstrable interest in the investment industry.
* Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial modelling.
* Professional Development:
CFA Level 1/2/3 is a plus but not required.
* Client Interaction
: experience with outreach is imperative.
* Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and interact effectively with the investment committee and stakeholders.
* Work Ethic:
Self-starter with a strong team-oriented mindset, comfortable working in a small and dynamic team environment.
* Language:
English first language is required.
