Work Experience Team Leader (Temporary)

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading, coaching, and developing a team responsible for sourcing and managing work placements
* Driving employer engagement activity - including business development, networking, and lead generation
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with local, regional, and national employers
* Ensuring consistent achievement of placement targets and KPIs
* Using data and performance metrics to improve outcomes and processes
* Overseeing the full work placement lifecycle - from sourcing to quality assurance
* Supporting employers with guidance to ensure successful placement experiences
* Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection standards
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align placement activity with wider organisational goals
What We're Looking For
This role needs someone who can balance leadership with commercial awareness. If you're just a people manager with no delivery focus - this won't land. Likewise, if you're purely sales-driven but can't lead a team - it'll show quickly.

* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to hit targets
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
* Confidence working with data to drive decisions and improvements

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Experience within education, training, or skills-based environments
* Exposure to industry placements, apprenticeships, or similar programmes
* Experience working with CRM systems and reporting tools
