Job Title - Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Plumbing Professional to help support in the practical lessons of a variety of construction subjects.

Role Responsibilities
Work well with colleagues in classrooms and across the college, showing respect and teamwork to provide excellent services to students.
Prepare teaching materials, equipment and resources for student activities and project work.
Help students get better at their skills by providing hands-on practice and real-world examples during vocational sessions.
Keep track of students' academic information, such as attendance records and work completed, and any other records needed.
Handle administrative tasks like ordering, receiving, and keeping records of goods and materials in the department following set procedures.
Distribute equipment, tools and materials to authorised staff and students.
Assess risks of processes, equipment, facilities, and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
Keep track of equipment and supplies inventory and notify staff when it's time to reorder.
Maintain a professional image and environment for learning
Make sure all display work is current, high quality, and reflects the students in the area.
Help keep the area running smoothly by assisting when needed.
Provide support in other areas of the College when required.
Repair and maintaining equipment and tools to comply with Health & Safety requirements.
Report maintenance/unsafe items which cannot be rectified.
Dispose of waste materials in line with College procedures.
Undertake training as required by the College in order to accommodate flexibility within the technician structure
Ensure equipment is safely maintained and compliant with health and safety standards
Essential Requirements
A qualification in Plumbing.
Industry experience in Plumbing.
