About the Role
Are you an entrepreneurial, customer-focused leader with a passion for retail and community? Join Morrisons Daily as a Convenience Store Manager and run your store like it's your own business! We are looking for a dedicated 'shopkeeper' to lead one of our busy stores. Your mission will be to serve your customers, support your colleagues, and champion your local community, ensuring the store is the best place to work and shop.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer & Commercial Performance: Treat the store as your own business, constantly seeking innovative ways to improve the commercial offering, drive sales, and manage costs effectively.
* Best-in-Class Experience: Lead your team to deliver exceptional customer service, challenge the norm, and think of new ways to make the customer experience the best in the market, in line with the Morrisons brand promise.
* Team Leadership & Development: Cultivate talent by overseeing recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development; build an inclusive culture where every colleague is motivated and empowered.
* Operational Excellence, Standards & Compliance: Ensure all operational procedures, health and safety, and compliance standards are rigorously met, maintaining an attractive, safe, and efficient shopping environment.
* Flexibility: Work early mornings, late nights, and weekends to meet business and customer needs.
* Community Engagement: Build strong, positive relationships within the local community, understand the vital role the store plays, and actively seek ways to offer support.
About You
We are looking for leaders who can inspire, adapt, and deliver results. While prior experience in a fast-paced, service-focused environment (such as retail, convenience, or hospitality) is beneficial, we prioritise the following leadership qualities:

Some stores offer Post Office services. If so, a P250 financial check will be required as part of your offer of employment. Successful verification of this check is mandatory to start employment.
