Description
The Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for, however not limited to:
* Providing specialist technical support across process safety within site operations and capital projects
* Leading and facilitating process hazard analyses, including HAZOP, LOPA, and Process Risk Assessments
* Supporting and governing Management of Change (MoC) processes to ensure effective risk mitigation
* Partnering with cross‑functional teams to embed best‑in‑class process safety tools and methodologies
* Driving improvements in process safety performance, risk reduction, and asset reliability
* Leading or supporting incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Ensuring delivery of risk assessments and associated actions in line with agreed timelines
* Developing and implementing performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and governance structures to strengthen safety performance
Qualifications
* A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven knowledge of process safety principles and regulations.
* Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential risks.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

* Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
