Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for the role of Clinical Team Manager to support the St Helens and Knowsley Early Intervention Team. The successful candidate will communicate effectively in a variety of settings, utilise assessment skills and tools, and have experience in managing and supervising staff within a multi-agency framework. You will lead and develop staff and foster positive working relationships with colleagues within Mersey Care and external partner organisations.

Main duties
* Provide effective leadership/management to the designated team and ensure deployment of staff and resources to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care.
* Formulate and implement local clinical and operational practices; represent the Operational Business Manager/Modern Matron at meetings as required.
* Lead the St Helens and Knowsley Early Intervention Team within an integrated multi-disciplinary framework; work flexibly to deliver care in a community setting.
* Support recruitment, induction, performance monitoring, supervision and staff development; ensure adherence to Trust policies and clinical governance.
* Maintain up-to-date risk management, health and safety, incident investigation, complaints handling and service improvement processes.
* Monitor and manage budget for the Home Treatment Service; work with the Operational Business Manager to achieve financial targets.
* Ensure staff have access to clinical supervision, record-keeping is compliant, and emergency procedures are known by all staff.
* Develop local protocols to sustain high standards of service delivery and positive engagement with partner agencies.
* Provide statistical information on workforce and service user activity as required; contribute to service schedules and equipment maintenance in line with safety regulations.
Clinical responsibilities
* Participate in regular management supervision and maintain direct assessment and care skills when required.
* Develop and implement integrated care pathways, including service user assessments/referrals and models of care.
* Provide information and support for families, carers and other professionals; ensure professional leads are connected.
* Ensure safe medicine management in accordance with NMC code and Trust Medicine Code; work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Promote intra-agency collaboration; set service standards based on evidence and ensure compliant record-keeping.
