Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Administrator to join our Billing team. You'll help manage billing activity worth approximately £12 million annually and support the resolution of around 4,000 customer queries. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where accuracy, efficiency, and a customer-focused mindset are key.
What You'll Be Doing
* Reviewing credit note and refund requests submitted by wider business teams
* Raising invoices and credit notes as required
* Preparing BACS journal entries
* Liaising with Sales Ledger, Credit Control, and other teams to resolve billing-related queries
* Handling ad-hoc invoicing and manual consolidated invoicing
* Assisting with monthly team metrics and daily KPI reporting
* Supporting the Billing Team Leader with daily workflow and task allocation
About You
You're someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in getting the details right. You'll be successful in this role if you:
* Work efficiently within a fast-paced organisation
* Understand the importance of timeliness and accuracy in financial processes
* Are confident working with numbers and have strong attention to detail
* Communicate clearly and work well with others to resolve issues
* Can manage your own workload while supporting team priorities
* Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel to a high level
* Enjoy problem solving and contributing to process improvements
* Are adaptable and keen to support change as part of a transformation journey
* Experience in billing preferred but not essential
