A warm and community-driven primary school in Lichfield is looking for a responsible, friendly, and proactive Lunchtime Supervisor to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting children, promoting positive behaviour, and helping create a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment.
What the Role Involves
* Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and indoor areas
* Encouraging positive play, good manners, and healthy social interaction
* Supporting children with meals, including opening packaging and assisting younger pupils
* Managing minor behaviour issues calmly and consistently
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the lunch period
* Helping set up and tidy away dining hall equipment
* Working as part of a supportive midday team

* A caring, patient, and approachable personality
* Confidence in supervising groups of children
* Good communication and behaviour-management skills
* Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
* Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
