Looking for a role where your ideas matter and your experience is genuinely valued?
We’re working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Leeds area that’s looking for a fantastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. If you’re confident leading class activities, love supporting learning, and want to work in a setting where no two days are the same—you’re in the right place.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading class sessions and stepping in when teachers are away
Delivering creative interventions to boost literacy, numeracy, and social skills
Supporting pupils with additional needs—helping every child shine
Building brilliant relationships with teachers, support staff, and families
Taking ownership of your role and helping shape a positive classroom vibe
What’s in it for you:
✔️ A school that truly values HLTAs—you’ll be part of the heart, not the sidelines
✔️ Free CPD and training to help you keep growing
✔️ Friendly, supportive consultants who always have your back
✔️ A team that listens, encourages, and shares ideas
We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Has HLTA status or an equivalent qualification
✅ Brings strong classroom confidence and behaviour management skills
✅ Is proactive, positive, and ready to jump in
✅ Enjoys both teamwork and taking the lead
✅ Communicates clearly and passionately supports children’s progress
Sound like a bit of you?
If you're not already Thrive trained, we’ll get you booked onto our free course. It’s a fantastic tool for supporting emotional wellbeing—and schools love it.
Let me know if you'd like this in a shorter social media version too!
Go get those days!
