The Opportunity/Role Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, this position will play a pivotal role in the development and operational function of Supply Planning. The Senior Planning Analyst will be responsible for managing all activities across the product lifecycle for the portfolio of bought-in and/or manufactured goods, components and materials. Key Responsibilities will include: Compliance with the planning cycle, to produce a credible plan to meet customer demands including inventory, logistics and storage considerations Ensure pre-production activities are undertaken to ensure the system is maintained with robust credible data that creates suitable supply plans, taking actions to rectify inaccuracies Work with your supply chain to manage orderbook/project plans and make balanced decisions to ensure business priorities are supported to best satisfy customer demands Ensure robust answers are given to any Sales and Operation Planning questions through the Integrated Business Planning process To carry out and input to required business and operational reviews to understand capability to deliver to demand requirements, to define and manage actions to mitigate risks and issues Requirements: Previous experience in a planning role preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Data driven with strong analytical and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Excel & Access with Power BI preferable); strong understanding of ERP (Dynamics AX / SAP); and MRP software. Confident operator within S&OP/ IBP environment.
