Salary:
* £28,000 - £36,000 per annum
We are seeking an Employability and Work Skills Tutor to join us at HMP Dovegate, a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. The prison accommodates up to 1160 male adult prisoners over 21, serving various sentences including trial, remand, and long/short-term sentences.
The Tutor will deliver functional skills, employability skills, and life skills programs, including sex education. Responsibilities include teaching English and numeracy skills, alongside employability, life skills, and sex education.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
* Experience delivering work skills and employability programs
* Experience designing and delivering adult education programs within regulated environments (OFSTED, awarding bodies, etc.)
* Relevant industry experience in education sector
