Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel premises at Wennington Hall.
The successful candidate will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of hygiene, organisation, and guest satisfaction. Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and organisation across all guest rooms and public areas.
* Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of service.
* Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
* Develop cleaning schedules and allocate tasks efficiently among team members.
* Address guest requests or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
* Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth hotel operations.
* Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, and supply usage.
Experience
* Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of janitorial practices, cleaning techniques, and health & safety standards.
* Previous experience in hospitality environments is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
* Good communication skills to liaise with staff and guests professionally.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
