A Typical Day in the Job: Supporting clients and users through email, phone, Teams, and ticketing systems ( HaloPSA ). Working within Service Level Agreements ( SLAs ), to resolve tickets withing agreed timescales. Utilising remote access tools ( TeamViewer ) to remotely resolve user issues. Liaison with 3 rd Parties, raising requests for vendor support. Follow essential security processes in administering user management requests (Joiners, Movers and Leavers ( JML ), MFA setup, User group and policy management, email security ( Mimecast ). Ensuring documentation is reviewed and up to date ( ITGlue ) Performing hands-on tasks such as building and configuring laptops to customer specifications. Applying Security updates to Windows servers, updating software drivers, and firmware versions. Gaining exposure to a wide range of cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS based Applications Utilising tools like N-Able, Powershell, and Intune to trouble shoot issues, deploy updates and automate tasks. Youll work alongside experienced engineers and benefit from full structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships to build a strong foundation in technical support. Desired Skills, Qualities, and Knowledge: A genuine passion for technology whether you build PCs, experiment with code, or fix things for family and friends. Confident communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach. Interest in developing people skills and providing first-class technical support. Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn new tools and systems. A Grade 5/C in English and a Grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £15,000 £16,500 per annum (depending on experience). Monday to Friday with two rotating shifts: 8:00am4:30pm or 9:00am5:30pm. 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
