Sellick Partnership are recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector client for a Governance Manager on a temporary ongoing basis, with the potential for a permanent opportunity in the future.
This role is perfect for a Public Sector/Housing or NHS PA, Data Protection or Governance professional looking for their next step in a progressive organisation.
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire - Hybrid Working
Duration: 3 Months +
Salary: £Competitive
Duties of the Governance Manager:
* Providing support to the CEO and Exec Team
* Meeting the Governance responsibilities
* Ensuring the regulatory and governance responsibilities, ensuring that all standing orders, policies, and procedures around governance are met
* Acting as the Data Privacy Manager for the organisation
* Providing administrative support to ensure the upkeep of the Risk Register and to act as the Company Secretary
* Enabling the smooth running of meetings, including preparing and distributing papers, room bookings, providing refreshments, meeting, and greeting external visitors
* Providing training for all staff on Compliance issues and evaluating the impact of data breaches
Requirements for the Governance Manager:
* Undertaking a similar role of servicing committee meetings, dealing with regulatory bodies and maintaining formal company records
* Relevant PA or secretarial experience in an office environment
* Comprehensive experience of complex minute taking
* Understanding of governance processes
* Experience of a good level of expertise in software applications i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint
