The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours or sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.

Monday - Thursday, 08:00-16:00
Friday, 08:00-13:00

North Berwick High School is a secondary school located in the beautiful coastal town of North Berwick, which received an excellent HMIE inspection report in June 2020. The current school roll is 1046. Recent expansion work has created more classrooms and improved facilities. The school has strong links with the local community and offers a broad range of extracurricular activities. This post is within our Administration Team, which consists of seven staff members providing support to pupils, staff, parents, and visitors. The successful candidate will work closely with Guidance Teachers, focusing on health and attendance issues. Responsibilities include managing first aid and pupil medication, photocopying, and printing school reports. Organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves leading the school vaccination program and organizing first aid training. The ability to prioritize and collaborate effectively is also required.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications: Valid First Aid Certificate or qualification to administer first aid.
PVG Membership: This position is considered a Regulated Role involving vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. All preferred candidates will need to become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before a formal offer is made.
