Veterinary Surgeon Morden Greater London
The Vet Office is working on behalf of a well-established small animal practice in Morden (Greater London) that has been serving the local community for over 25 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly supportive and well-structured clinical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking for a stable well-equipped practice with a strong team culture and a manageable rota.
The Practice
* Long-established reputable practice with a loyal client base
* Supportive team environment including:
o Lead Veterinary Surgeon
o Registered Veterinary Nurses
o Student and support staff
* Modern well-equipped facilities:
o Separate cat and dog waiting areas
o 3 consultation rooms
o Fully equipped theatre
o Digital X‑ray and dental X‑ray
o Advanced ultrasound equipment
o In‑house laboratory
The Role
* Full‑time position: 4 days per week
* Shifts: 9:00am‑7:00pm
* 1 in 6 full weekends at a nearby 24‑hour hospital (with full clinical support)

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality clinical care during consultations and procedures
* Provide clear compassionate communication to clients
* Maintain high standards of clinical regulatory and operational compliance
* Create tailored treatment plans with transparent cost estimates
* Support mentor and develop colleagues within the team
* Complete thorough clinical handovers and arrange referrals or OOH care where required
* Contribute positively to clinical standards and best practice across the wider group
Candidate Requirements
* RCVS‑registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Proven experience in small animal practice
* Strong clinical and client communication skillsTeam‑oriented with the ability to demonstrate leadership when required
* Experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
* Interest in maintaining and contributing to a progressive clinical culture
