Description
* Prepare and review accurate financial reports in line with accounting standards.
* Manage the monthly and annual financial close processes.
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities to guide business decisions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
* Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
* Oversee and guide junior accounting team members.
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
* A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
* Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
* A thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
* Experience in the life science industry would be advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
