Salary: £32,849 - £35,896 assuming good attendance. Hours: Waking nights (4 on / 4 off).
The Witherslack Group operates children's homes for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. The night support worker role involves being there for the highest highs and lowest lows, helping young people get their childhood back and creating pathways to become well-rounded adults. There will be challenges, but also moments that feel like meaningful victories.

Responsibilities
* Take care of the home and our young people through the night, supporting them through severe trauma, illness, upset or sleep difficulties and providing reassurance in their time of need.
* Build rapport and become someone the young people can trust during the night-time period.
* In quieter times, undertake tasks around the home such as paperwork, cleaning and laundry.
* Attend to the needs of each young person by tailoring support to their individual needs, personality and potential, and guide them toward a positive future.

* Base salary: £29,449 - £32,496
* Bonuses: £1,400 Attendance Allowance (assuming good attendance), £2,000 Regional Allowance, £1,000 Welcome Bonus

Requirements / What We Look For
* A ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who helps others

* Resilience to handle challenging situations
* A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
* If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we will support you to study
You’ll start as a NSO by joining the Care Academy – 4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals.
