Based in a beautiful and trendy area of Central London, you have the opportunity to join a small and close-knit finance team where culture is king. This role is fully in-person, with 5 days expected in the office. The Role Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'd be working alongside an Assistant Accountant and Production Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, serving as the point of contact for production finance, and be responsible for overseeing the financial wrap process for ongoing productions. Your responsibilities include managing petty cash, managing intercompany reconciliations, closing down productions and managing the accounts for wrap/post-production, supporting with audit, and business partnering closely with the American office, production staff, and creatives on accounting matters. This is a unique opportunity to step up into an industry-specific role and gain more exposure and experience in finance and accounting for the entertainment and production industry. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years or more in an accounting role within the creative/media/entertainment industry and is looking to take a step-up in responsibility and gain exposure to production accounts. Very importantly, the ideal candidate has an interest in the Entertainment Industry and enjoys a friendly and social workplace culture. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day production and corporate accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely postings to the general ledger Lead credit card reconciliations, VAT recognition, and petty cash management, maintaining robust controls and audit trails Partner with Production teams to provide financial oversight throughout the production lifecycle, from budgeting and cashflow forecasting to final cost reporting Work closely with creative stakeholders to monitor spend, track variances, and provide actionable insights on production-specific financial matters Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group accounting policies Liaise with international offices to resolve technical accounting queries and align reporting standards across territories Prepare monthly management accounts, supporting schedules, and reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of production and business financial reporting Balance and maintain the general ledger, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with statutory and internal requirements Assist the Head of Finance with strategic initiatives, ad hoc reporting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls What We Need to See (Essential) 3-4 years in a similar role within a creative business A passion for TV and Film!
