Overview
The role will support the KAN business in all aspects of self-delivered activities within the aligned UK sector and will work alongside direct and indirect account teams to ensure effective service delivery and frontline compliance. Responsible for recovery cleaning operations across an allocated portfolio in line with their Sector Manager's Area Rota, which will be defined from week to week or day to day and allocated by the Sector Manager, within an 8-hour working window. Contract specification and knowledge is needed to ensure full delivery to clients' SLAs is met.
Responsibilities
* All aspects of cleaning operational delivery within the site in remit.
* Respond to Sector Manager requests as required.
* Perform periodic cleaning as per the client specification and schedule to 100%.
* Adhere to client's specific security procedures and policies.
* Maintain relationships with employer's representatives and company personnel, as necessary.
* Ensure familiarity with opening and lockup procedures for all contracts in your area of responsibility.
* Undertake site familiarization with all new employees detailing cleaning regime, waste procedures, opening and lockup procedures, and air lock door procedures.
* Keep storerooms tidy and stock stored correctly.
* Ensure adequate stocks of all materials and consumables are maintained; flag any issues to the relevant manager.
* Record every site visit in the communications book and use T&A (time and attendance) on each visit.
* Time management: adhere to the full duration of each contracted shift; no visit must fall short of this time.
* Demonstrate responsible ownership and attention to detail.
* Travel is required; overnight stays may be necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience as a Cleaner is preferred (but full training will be provided).
* Ability to communicate with and support front-line colleagues effectively.
* Ability to manage client expectations.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; outstanding customer service with remote business groups.
* Must be flexible, adaptable and proactive.
* Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects.
* Able to build good working relationships in a professional manner with internal stakeholders.
