Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow
* Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of meals during service hours
* Oversee food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
* Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and customer service standards
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment
* Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
* Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings preferred
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
* Previous experience serving guests and delivering excellent customer service is advantageous
