We’re recruiting for an Electrician to join our team! Contractually based out of our Basingstoke office, you'll predominantly cover Aldershot and the surrounding area. This is a full‑time, permanent position working 39 hours per week, alongside participation in the emergency on‑call rota. You'll need to live within a suitable distance to attend out of hour emergencies within a reasonable time frame, and will be paid at very competitive rates for the on‑call rota.

Role Overview
As an electrician, you’ll carry out electrical repairs and installations in our domestic and commercial properties. You’ll ensure work is performed in line with all current IEE Electrical Regulations while maintaining high Health & Safety standards. You’ll fault‑find on circuits and perform electrical testing as required, and may also carry out PAT testing.
Qualifications
Electrical Installation – one of the following:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification + AM2
* City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2
* City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3 (from Sept 2011)
* City and Guilds 2365 Levels 2 and 3 + AM2
* City and Guilds 2357 + AM2
* Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification 2346 + AM2E
* An industry‑recognised level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
Inspection & Testing:
* City & Guilds 2391‑95: Inspection and Testing – Periodic Inspection/Testing of Existing Systems, or an equivalent recognised qualification
Or
* City & Guilds 2394/95
* An industry‑recognised level 3 qualification in Initial Verification and Periodic Testing
Wiring Regulations: City & Guilds 2382‑18/20, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – with a commitment to achieving Amendment Four (April 2026)
Please ensure that your current qualifications are clear on your CV or application.
You’ll be able to demonstrate good all‑round electrical skills including testing, fault finding, repairs and installation. Experience working in domestic properties and/or for social housing would be an advantage.

Driving
A full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.
