Responsibilities
* Provide legal advice to the Council/Housing Service on landlord and tenant law.
* Provide legal advice on statutory duty of care.
* Provide legal advice on homelessness/disrepair.
* Provide legal advice on the acquisition and disposal of property and the development of housing policy and process.
* Provide advice in respect to specific letters, disputes or other matters.
* Provide detailed advice on complex cases.
* Provide advice on leaseholder agreements, consultation and sale covenants.
* Provide legal advice and assistance to the housing service.
* Provide guidance and support to colleagues.
* Demonstrate a responsive and effective customer‑focused approach.
* Build internal and external relationships to deliver results.
About You
* A thorough knowledge of Housing Law and Court procedure.
* A Solicitor or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.
This position requires a Standard DBS Check.
