Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Duty & Assessment Team for Barnet Council. Duties and Responsibilities: * Managing complex safeguarding referrals and undertaking Child and Family Assessments. * Assessing risk and determining thresholds for intervention in line with statutory guidance. * Leading on complex cases and supporting Social Workers within the team. * Participating in strategy discussions, Section 47 enquiries, and Child Protection processes. * Working collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to gather information and ensure effective safeguarding responses. * Preparing high-quality assessments and reports while maintaining accurate case recordings. * Ensuring the voice of the child is central to all assessments and planning.
